Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the Promo Announcement Bar app on your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, uninstall the app.

2. Service description

The app provides UI and infrastructure for designing, scheduling, and publishing announcement bars on Shopify storefronts, plus aggregate analytics on bar views and CTA clicks.

3. Subscription & billing

Subscription tiers and view quotas are listed in the in-app Plan & billing page. Charges are processed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current 30-day cycle.

Exceeding your view quota does not cause the app to stop rendering bars on the storefront — it pauses the analytics meter for the rest of the cycle. Upgrade to keep tracking.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app for content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend service for misuse.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and unexpected incidents may cause downtime. The service is provided as-is.

7. Termination

You may uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. We may terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted per the privacy policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the updated version takes effect on the date listed at the top. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance.
